A quick hop from Shibuya and Shinjuku, Shimokitazawa is a nice change of pace from the craziness of the big city. We stumbled upon this little shop selling books and curiosities with seating areas where one can take in the scene over a cuppa, and feel safe about burying one’s face in a book and being lost in thoughts.

This song came out two years ago today. It is about your self identity being the most important thing to you and nobody can take that away. Hair is a way to define yourself. It doesn’t matter if you want some raccoon or red highlights, as long as you feel comfortable. I want to be as free as my hair and I want everyone to be as free as their hair. Thank you.
